There is something truly magical about Door County, especially in the Fall! Door County is such a romantic getaway, and when you travel there during the Fall season, you will feel as if you’ve jumped into a Midwest episode of Gilmore Girls. From the cute cafes, restaurants, shops, art galleries, great outdoor hiking trails, and gorgeous scenery, Door County has everything to offer to fit your autumnal travel needs.

Are you a lover of the autumn atmosphere and beautiful fall colors? Same! This is why this year, for fall, we decided to take a trip to Acadia National Park, and we couldn’t have timed our trip more perfectly! Somehow, we managed to visit the area right during peak fall foliage season, and it was everything I was hoping for and more.

If you live in the upper midwest and haven’t traveled to the North Shore during those harsh winter months, then you are missing out on a beautiful experience! Over a year ago I would have never planned a vacation to go further north during the winter, but after seeing multiple videos and pictures of the great lakes and their incredible ice formations throughout the coldest months, I knew I had to go. And it was so worth it!

I never expected that I would be visiting Mexico in 2022, but I’m glad that I was offered this opportunity! The only reason I was able to go on this trip was that my dad needed to get massive oral surgery done down in Mexico, and I was brought along to look after him over a week-long period in case of any emergencies. This travel blog post won’t be as long as my other ones since I really didn’t go exploring much of Cancún, and pretty much stayed on the resort most of the time, but this trip was still so much fun!

I can’t think of a better way to end the warm days of summer by going on a vacation to Door County WI, which is exactly what my boyfriend and I did. If you want to visit a place that has beautiful scenery, great food, fun art galleries, and has great cocktails/wine/beer/ciders then Door County WI is the place for you!

After over a year of not leaving the midwest due to covid, it was high time to go on a vacation. For the first week of May, my boyfriend and I explored the Northwest Coast in parts of Washington and Oregon. Springtime in the Northwest is so beautiful! It was still pretty chilly most days, and there were some hikes in the mountains we couldn’t complete due to snow, but it was such an amazing and unique experience to travel this area in the off-season.
